"We Care" By Donating Clothes to a Good Cause
It's almost Spring and soon time to rotate your wardrobe. We all have a closet full of clothes, yet wear the same few things over and over again. Many of us have a hard time parting with clothes, but if you donate them to a worthy charity, you will take the madness out of your wardrobe while doing a really good deed.
We are proud to work with the "We Care" fund of the Nassau County Bar Association. They are holding a drive for men and women's business apparel. These clothes will go towards less fortunate men and women who will be wearing them for job interviews.
Here's what you do.
From March 27th to March 30th, donate any of the following items to the Nassau County Bar Association (through the "We Care" Fund) at the Domus Dining Hall (15 West St in Mineola):
- New and "gently used" men (or women) business appropriate clothing
- Children clothing
- Tuxedos or suits
Take a picture of your clothing donation (at the donation site) and receive a $100 Giorgenti gift certificate towards the purchase of a suit (or sport coat + dress slacks).
5% of your overall purchase will be donated - by Janine Giorgenti - to the We Care charity.
