Dear Friends of Shoes for All,
I am hoping I can count on your help again this year, Can you Join me and help me take the “ one day without shoe challenge on April 30th ?
I can use your help one of three ways:
1) Take the no shoe challenge with me and Join me on April 30th and have your friends and family, pledge money on your behalf.
2 ) Give Me a pledge for whatever amount you could afford to pledge me to take the challenge by making a donation on our website. www.shoesforall-sfa.com
3) Become a sponsor for only 250.00 and be listed on our website all year. As many of you know, Newsday Follows us, So placing your information on our site would be of a great benefit for your business too!. We are due to have an article out in Newsday again in the next few weeks.
It’s going to be a fun day on the Long beach board walk, so I hope you can make it!
Would you be so kind to walk with me or pledge me?
My goal is to Raise 5000.00 this year for our veterans to purchase them new shoes!!
Many thanks for all of your Support.

HELP A VETERAN, COME WALK WITH US
3rd Annual Shoes for All Fundraiser
“ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES”
SUNDAY, APRIL 30, 2017
10:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M.
LONG BEACH BOARDWALK AT LAURELTON BOULEVARD
Dr. Mary Carlson started Shoes for All a non-profit 501 (c) (3) in September 2010 with her first shoe drive at a local street fair. The tremendous community support and experience proved that there was an overwhelming need for this type of outreach service.
In addition to helping homeless families and children in need, Shoes for All has been supporting the Veterans Stand Down Program for the past three years. Last year we donated 150 pairs of new slippers to our Veterans. We will be supporting Veterans Stand Down again this year with two events; one being held in July in Hempstead and the other in November in Freeport. We would like to be able to present new shoes to our Veterans at these events. There are no resources available to our Veterans that supply shoes.
A staggering statistic is that 55% of the homeless are our Veterans and 1.5 million Veterans are living in poverty. We owe our Veterans so much for the sacrifices they have made.
Please help us reach our goal.
OUR WALK GOAL IS $5,000
All proceeds from this year’s walk will be used directly to purchase new footwear for our local VETERANS.
Sincerely,
Deirdrea Renwick
