PAINT NIGHT FUNDRAISER: FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4th
My name is Julianna Tand and I am 10 years old and in 5th Grade in Merrick. I raise money for Ronald McDonald House and am currently planning a Paint Night Fundraiser to benefit the New Hyde Park location.
My clay business, Julianna’s Works of HeART, has raised more than $7,500 in the past 3 years and my hope is that my 2022 donation will be my biggest yet! My work and donations have been featured in Newsday (March 31, 2021) and LI Herald. I was also interviewed and had a feature spot on News12, Newsday Online, and Nightly News with Lester Holt Kid’s Edition (April 8, 2021).
I am currently planning an in-person Paint Night fundraiser on Friday, November 4th at Sacred Heart School in Merrick. Local artist Debbie Viola is donating her time to teach that night so that 100% of the money I raise can go straight to helping families staying at Ronald McDonald House have a home away from home while their sick children are in the hospital next door. I am raising money by charging $50 admission to the event and will also be selling tickets for raffle baskets. I was just interviewed by LI Herald and Patch again about my fundraising with this event.
I was hoping that your business might be willing to supply us with a good prize or gift card for our raffles. All contributor’s names will be mentioned and thanked in our program and on our social media.
Do you think you would be able to help me help Ronald McDonald House? I would appreciate it so much!
I am also enclosing a poster about the event so that you can hang it or share with your customers who might want to attend. It will be a fun night of creativity and community!
If you are able to help with a donation, please contact us at (516) 643-2441 when it is ready and we can pick it up.
Thank you in advance for your help!
