Considering there were over 2600 murders in NY in 1990 and less than 700 in 2013, I think its far more appropriate that  you thank the police instead of protesting them. If you really want to make a difference, and are as brave as you are with the police, you'd protest the criminals in your neighborhood and promote more parental involvement!!! 99% of the time it's not the teachers fault kids do poorly in school. 100% of the time, its not the police`s fault someone's a criminal/ murderer. Responsibility for this starts with the parents, and it starts from infancy. Let's get real!!!! Happy New Year!!!!! Make it a great one!!!! : )))
