Founder, On The Marc Patient Advocacy Services

Marc Berlin is the Founder of On The Marc Patient Advocacy Services, based on Long Island, New York. As a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) and Senior Home Safety Specialist (SHSS), Marc brings extensive experience in human resources, healthcare administration, and disability advocacy. His unique combination of professional expertise and lived experience navigating the healthcare system enables him to provide compassionate, personalized guidance and support to patients and their families.

Marc’s passion for patient advocacy is deeply rooted in his own life experiences. Born with cerebral palsy, Marc has undergone more than 20 surgical procedures and has spent much of his life navigating the complexities of the healthcare system. These experiences have given him a firsthand understanding of the challenges individuals with disabilities face, the importance of self-advocacy, and the need to have someone in your corner when making critical healthcare decisions.

Marc earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources, from The American University and his Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from The George Washington University.

Through On The Marc Patient Advocacy Services, Marc is dedicated to helping older adults, individuals with disabilities, and families navigate healthcare challenges, advocate for their rights, and maintain independence and dignity.

“Life is smoother with a patient advocate by your side.”
