Recently I have been asked when the right time to begin SAT/ACT prep and planning is.  The short answer is that there is no wrong time.  Think about it, assess your child’s strengths/weaknesses and make a long term plan.  Where do they want to go?  Where would you like them to go?  What have they done that can be put on their resume?  Which AP classes should I take? 

The one thing I will say is that if they can be done with the stress of testing by spring of junior year they can spend time thinking about colleges and goals.
