As you may know, LOVE LAW FIRM believes in giving back to the community.

We sponsored a clothing drive for premature infants and received over 50 outfits! We sponsored a duffle bag drive for children in foster care and received over 100 duffle bags filled with useful items! We’ve been a Community Sponsor of EAC Network since 2016 and been a corporate sponsor of their Party to Protect Children for 2016 and 2017, being part of raising over $30,000 for children’s programs on Long Island.

Quite simply, it is my personal conviction that if a company will not give back to the community, it should not exist.

This holiday season, LOVE LAW FIRM is doing its most personal charitable drive to date.

I’ve been privileged to provide pro bono legal services to a family in need. This is a family that is trying to do everything right and is simply caught in a bad economic situation. Like too many people, they experienced a catastrophic medical condition which wiped them out financially and left the father unable to work. The mother has been working two to three jobs simultaneously since then to keep the family afloat. She’s doing a great job – she recently was able to move the family from a long-term hotel (where they moved after losing their home) to a small apartment.

 The children – a boy and a girl – are great kids, and very resilient given all they’ve been through recently. Unfortunately, the lack of resources has impacted them at school. The son was recently beaten up by a bully who mocked him about his worn and out-of-style clothing. The daughter didn’t feel comfortable attending a school dance because she didn’t have a dress she felt was pretty enough to wear to it.

Sometimes we are asked for money and we give it and have no idea where it goes. We know it goes to help, but we don’t see the direct impact.

This is an entirely different situation.

I’m asking for your help to give assistance to four very real people. Your donation can mean a new pair of shoes, a new dress, a warm coat for the winter, and even something fun to enjoy. While I cannot share details about the family, I can assure you that they need our help and will be so appreciative for anything we can do for them.

Sometimes we all need a little help.
